    Robert Glasper, a jazz pianist from Houston, Texas, is renowned for his innovative blend of jazz, hip-hop, R&B, and rock. Influenced by his gospel pianist mother, Glasper honed his skills at Houston's High School for the Performing Arts and the New School University in Manhattan. His versatile career includes collaborations with Christian McBride, Kenny Garrett, Roy Hargrove, and Mos Def. Glasper's debut album Mood was released in 2004, followed by Canvas and In My Element. His groundbreaking album Black Radio with the Robert Glasper Experiment won a Grammy for Best R&B Album and blurred genre boundaries. He continued to innovate with Black Radio 2, winning another Grammy, and has contributed to significant projects like Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly and the Miles Davis tribute album Everything’s Beautiful.
